I am trying to edit the pit building of Auto Club Speedway to include the Fuzzy's Pitbox but when I change the texture on the faces I want to change it to I export the 3do, when I put it in game it works for about a lap and then crashes. What am I doing wrong or is there anyone that can make this change for me as I am trying to update Auto Club Speedway. I have include a picture on what I am trying to go for.

By editing the 3do in 3dsimed you've stripped all the lod information out of the model, the game is probably crashing under the load as a result, maybe a better way would be to build a new model slightly in front of the existing one, delete everything apart from the signage you want changing, change the textures and drop a second model in, in sandbox.

Tbh don't use 3DSimed for anything other than ripping models back to their base form for editing in 3dsmax.

Did that and it worked, isn't crashing now. Yeah unfortunately 3dsimed is the only way I can mess with 3do's.

Exactly...to do that and/or to get the scale and size of building a new model (or facade of it) lined up correctly.... ;)
