It kept disconnecting me during practice or time trail!! Stupid piece of [censor]! Today, I ran time trail at Sebring on Skip and I was booted off due to lack of connection. I look at the router and the orange light was blinking. I've had with this crappy DSL service from AT&T!
As you see I have not advance or involved in any race - it's because of this problem. I've called AT&T and they refused to help me and kept blaming on iRacing. There's nothing I can do except look at different option: cable modem.
I have been looking at Time Warner Roadrunner (my local cable company) and they're charging $50 for 15 mbps (for first 12 month subscription). Wow... very tempting... With me going unemployment shortly (few more weeks??) and going to school till December and then trying to find a new job which can take months - it would be difficult for me to switch to cable modem.
Look like I will only focus on offline practices with vehicles. That stupid DSL...
End ranting...
