I tell you after watching the Toyota All-Star Showdown last year, and seeing what Toyota Speedway at Irwindale does, I'd take that track over ACS hands down.

I did some calculations the other day, and I found that flying to Las Vegas, getting a hotel, and getting a ticket to the race is about $50-100 more expensive than just driving out to ACS....thus I have yet to go to a Nascar race.

Wow, that looks like something you'd see on The Onion.

I remember 10 months ago we were talking about ACS, and saying they couldn't get any dumber...well.....

ACS is an unending source of astonishment...not in a good way.

I tell you after watching the Toyota All-Star Showdown last year, and seeing what Toyota Speedway at Irwindale does, I'd take that track over ACS hands down.

When that track first started up, a lot of the operators from the now defunct Saugus Speedway that hosted the 3rd or 4th Truck Series race ever, moved over there. They've always known what they're doing, and they're doing it right. ACS really needs to take some notes.

I did some calculations the other day, and I found that flying to Las Vegas, getting a hotel, and getting a ticket to the race is about $50-100 more expensive than just driving out to ACS....thus I have yet to go to a Nascar race.

I've honestly noticed SMI tracks being far & away more fan-friendly than ISC tracks. It really seems like ISC tracks are the "Pepsi" of major American speedways.

Wow, that looks like something you'd see on The Onion.

It would not surprise me in the least if I learned that the Onion was the inspiration for this.
