As the year comes to a close I thought we could all discuss what we felt our top 20 albums of 2009 were.

Mine: In no specific order.

1. Eminem Relapse (Returned with a bang. Like rap or not the man is a lyrical genius)
2. Thousand Foot Krutch: Welcome to the Masquerade
3. Default: Comes and Goes (One of the years best ROCK albums)
4. Our Lady Peace: Burn Burn
5. Third Eye Blind: Ursa Major
6. The Used: Artwork
7. Skillet: Awake
8. Daughtry: Leave this Town
9. Red Jumpsuit Apparatus: Lonely Road
10. Three Days Grace: Life Starts Now (Album about starting over) GREAT!
11. Breaking Benjamin: Dear Agony
12. Flyleaf: Memento Mori (Sophomore Album that didnt disapoint)
13. 30 Seconds to Mars: This Is War
14. Rascal Flatts: Unstoppable (Still my one and only favorite country Band. Never cease to impress.)
15. Evans Blue: Evans Blue (New front man, even better singer and sound)
16. New Found Glory: Right Where We Left Off (More mature but still kicking strong)
17. Taking Back Sunday: New Again (Just awesome)
18. Red: Innocence and Instincts (Great sophomoric return)
19. Alice and Chains: Black Gives Way to Blue (Do I have to say More!)
20. Hoobastank: Fornever (Ultimate Breakup Album with Kick!)

The only album I bought this year was 'War Is The Answer' by Five Finger Death Punch.

I'd highly recommend it to all the hard rock/metal fans out there. 5FDP has definitely progressed from their first album, and highlights for me included the instrumental 'Canto 34' (very haunting song), Bulletproof (just one ass-kicking song without being overly heavy), and their cover of Bad Company (seems to me the way that song should be, period).

Waiting for 2010, I already know of 2 albums I intend to pick up.

Godsmack - Don't know what it's going to be called yet
John Michael Rose - The Portrait (some free advertisement for you dude!)

As for albums bought in 2008,

1. Metallica - Death Magnetic
2.Taylor Swift - Fearless (No clue if it has anything to do with the music or just the desire to sleep with her)
3.Slipknot - All Hope Is Gone
4.Scars On Broadway - They Say (a couple good songs, but mostly just a bit too trippy)

August Burns Red: Constellations
Gucci Mane: The State vs. Radrick Davis
The Devil Wears Prada: With Roots Above And Branches Below
Suicide Silence: No Time to Bleed

If you are into the softer stuff...

I don't care. lolz. I listen to classic rock. But I would say that Five Finger Death Punch's new album should be on there. I would go with their cover of Bad Company personally.

I've got War Is The Answer, the whole album, on my iPod. It's just amazing. Loud, but amazing. With my music tastes that are so different from a lot of people, FFDP is a good way to show people how I'm not THAT old fashioned. Even if I di have a secong gen iPod nano, a Windows XP and 2000, a flip phone for a cell phone that I never use anyway, and I'm still listening to Wild Cherry.

I'll just get this out of the way:

Michael Jackson's Number Ones
the Hannah Montana soundtrack

Okay, lynch me.

Nah, it's OK. We all have different tastes of music. If it makes you feel any better, I fell into the Hannah Montana thing a couple of years ago. I was basically obsessed. For me, it was hell, but I guess it was just an embarrassing phase I just told the world about. As for MJ, hey, he was a great singer.

I'd say the best is either Taylor Swift or Eminem. Both are GREAT. I love the Relapse album. Love it. And Taylor Swift is great too. Love Story is a good song, the best one I think.

Another album that was released not too long ago was Jay-Z's Blueprint 3. That has to be up there too.

Especially when that post is in a sarcastic manner, just to prevent all those no-taste listeners into their fanboy/fangirl posting.

Seriously, Muse. Especially United States of Eurasia.

Yeah man; I love the Bad Company cover. Added that to my IPod a couple months back. :D

Good band. Far From Home is my personal favorite, though.
