Best race of the decade - you decide

Why in the world would that be the "best race of the decade"?

Not for the racing persay, but because of all the cars that paid tribute to our fallen u.s.a. citizens. They had and shall be missed.

Yes, I understand that. I think it would go under "memorable" and not "best. Anyway....I think that 2001 Atlanta race is the best between Gordon and Harvick.

My vote for best race of the decade has to go to the 2000 Winston 500 at Talladega. Watching Dale Sr. drive from 18th to the lead in the final five laps and capture his 76th and final career win was just amazing.

My vote is probably going to be unlike anyone else's, but the 2009 Nationwide Montreal race. More specifically, the last 20 laps where there was a wreck every lap and Carl's pass on Ambrose in the final turn.

I though about that race. His 80TH career win. I was at that race. Didn't get my voice back for 3 days.

You could hear the crowd on TV... I think that Dega race was one of the better ones.

Yeah in one lap, Blaney could have won the thing. Good thing it wasn't the Talladega 502.662.

yep lost my voice for about 3 days too, but it was the 2009 natiowide kansas race. that was GREAT!

I guess for the same way I said the rockingham race was that year except instead of the racing community coming together it was the nation.

2007 Pepsi 400 at Daytona- Last plate race with the COY- Jamie McMurray edged out Kyle Busch at the stripe after running side by side for the last 20 laps. The best race I've ever seen.
