Big Crash at Radillion During EuroMasters Radical Race at Spa

A massive crash at the unforgiving Radillion turn at Spa-Francorchamps during a recent EuroMasters Radical race. The track marshal is pretty lucky that the car didn't tumble into his trackside stand behind the barrier.

Technically, that was at Radillion. Eau Rouge is only the left/drop, not the right hand uphill

Its alright. I make the mistake most of the time too. Most, if not all (including broadcasters) do it too

They made changes to the track in light of the accident. That area is now guarded with TWO catch fences.

Because the track owners thought people aren't respecting the track limits, they also added "sleeping policemen" at Eau Rouge and Blanchimont. Additionally, they also placed actual grass--NOT ASTROTURF-- at the Blanchimont.

tl;dr: paved runoffs are a very bad idea.
