Black Friday

Anyone going? Most stores around me now start sales at 10:00 PM
Went last year, plan on going again. I want a phone, but I'm gonna have to wait a little longer. I plan in getting a new desktop (ordering online), CoD Black Ops II, Hitman Absolution, NTGIL, Various NFS games and some more. I'm into fps, racing and action games. I could use some recommendations.

I certainly won't be shopping for video games, but maybe some other technological devices. I will be driving home that afternoon, so I will likely wait for Cyber Monday. Not a fan of going out and dealing with the huge crowds of people. Certainly some good deals going on though.

NBA 2K13 (Xbox 360) (possibly)
1600 Microsoft Points
3-Month Xbox Live Gold Subscription
A gaming headset

Thankfully the deals start at 10pm for these items.

I agree with you. In today's world with the internet. You can get just as good deals. Also if you go to a store any time from tomorrow to Xmas. You can also get just as good of a deal.

I agree 100%, and it gets worse every year with these companies starting it on Thanksgiving.

My dad for some reason doesn't want a new desktop and want s a laptop instead... He keeps on telling me what are going to with the old one... I tell him that we can sell it but he says people aren't as stupid as me to buy our PC... My PC's not that bad, it's good for everyday use. I was trampled the one and only year I went. My brother got a Nintendo DS ripped out of his hands...it was bad. Since, we've bought all Christmas presents online.

Erm, not trampled. More like, an overweight black lady hit me in the stomach with her shopping cart, then ran over my feet with said shopping cart, and then pushed me into a shelf of Barbie dolls.

This pretty much sums it up. I know consumerism is bad across the globe, but we know how to up the ante to new extremes. We act so "thankful" for our friends and families, and then treat everyone like garbage trying to get some good deals. I'll admit, though, I love the deals.
