I guess its back or something
i believe that is just the archive of the site, i don't think it's active.
It was reported a while back that some of the NR2K3 downloads still function.
Yeah that makes sense because none of the files will download. lol my friend got excited over nothing I guess
Does anyone know what happened to bhm?
As far as I know they shut it down. Just like any number of other sites. Considering just how much stuff was available at BHM, I'm guessing they had a pretty hefty server bill every month.
Which ones are you trying to download? Most of the ones that I tried work for me.
Sound files, reflections pack they wouldn't work.
I meant which ones in particular, because I downloaded a soundpack before.
Daytona/Talladega Sound Pack, and the Realistic Daytime Car Reflections. for NR2003 and they wouldn't download.
Hmm, you're right about the Daytona/Talladega Sound Pack. It says that it was based off this one, though:
^And that download for that still functions, so it's the next best thing. Also, Gamester uploaded the same reflection set to NNRacing:
NNRacing.com | Your Auto Racing sim community
Can you please try to get the nascar sound rebuilt sounds anyone?
Wow, it's interesting to see BH come back from the grave... I haven't heard that name in a number of years...
Well its not completely back. Most of the downloads don't work though :-/
It's only been gone for a year, dude.
I know that.
I wish I had NR before it closed down because I'm still searching for the most real internal and external sounds
I was talking to jon
Ah I see. But yeah its been a year.
It's not technically back, per sae. The site was popular enough in the community that the Wayback Machine Internet Archive preserved a large amount of information from it. The archiving service was started in 1996 and has billions of site archives on it's database, so what remains of Blackhole Motorsports won't be going anywhere for a long time.
If I can contact the person that made "Real Life Sounds v2.0", I'll ask him if he has the entire Rebuilt sound pack (he used some sounds from it in his own compilation).
In the meanwhile, do either of these two sound similar to what you were looking for?
