From Jayski:
Riggs driving for PRISM Motorsports at Michigan: Scott Riggs will make his PRISM Motorsports debut driving the #66 Toyota in the August 15 Carfax 400 at Michigan. "Scott clearly has an impressive racing resume and we are excited to bring a driver with his experience to PRISM Motorsports," said Phil Parsons, who serves as a co-owner of the team, along with Randy Humphrey. "Dave Blaney has been instrumental in getting our team started and to this point in the 2010 race season, so we are thankful to him and wish him the best in his future endeavors."(PRISM PR)(8-13-2010)

Sounds like Dave has finally left Prism. He's a heck of a driver, it was a shame to see him parking. My guess if he gets a full time ride is that its with TBR.

He's running the Knoxville Nationals this weekend, he should be back at PRISM next week.... unless Phil didn't like that he was taking the 5 laps he makes a Cup weekend off... lol

He said 'and wish him the best in his future endeavors'. I don't think he's coming back.

I wish Red Bull would give him a couple races in that car. Be nice to see him get a shot with a good team. He has been running the sprinter quite a bit this year. Pretty sure he won at Tri-City earlier this year in it.

He Looks Done

Wish him well on his future endeavors means he's done with PRISM. This talented driver deserves better. Maybe he could go to the 36 or 34 or even the 83 if Sorenson gets removed from that car.

Blaney to run for two teams: Dave Blaney thought his NASCAR Sprint Series racing was done for the year when he quit his association with Prism Motorsports {#66/#55 Toyota's] before the Michigan race Aug. 15. Blaney didn't skip a beat as he joined two racing teams to finish out the remaining 12 dates on the 2010 schedule. "I guess I just got to the point where I thought I wasn't going anywhere," Blaney said on Tuesday, a few weeks after parting ways with Prism. "It finally wore me down. I was going to be OK being done and not going back to any races this year, but then drivers started moving around a little and a couple seats opened up. So, I'll finish out most of the year and see what happens." Just when Blaney thought he'd use the down time watching the racing career of his son, Ryan, Dave got a call from [#36 Chevy] Tommy Baldwin of Tommy Baldwin Racing. "We tried to run Bristol [Aug. 21], but didn't make the race, but, between Baldwin and the #38 Ford of Front Row Motorsports those two cars I'll probably run the majority of the races left." As Blaney spoke, he was en route to Statesville, N.C. to finalize his plans with the Front Row team that Blaney will run 6 races for. He'll run five or six others in Baldwin's #36.(Vindicator), no word which races for which team yet.(8-25-2010)

I don't see how he would do any better there than what he has done in other rides.

It can't get much worse. At least you know in the #38, he will run more then 50 laps. Maybe den the Baldwin car.

Good for Dave, always been a fan of his. His specialty tracks are tracks like Richmond and Dover so he should be able to put some good runs together. After all, he did get top 15's in Bill Davis Equipment in 2008.
