I believe so. Or at least they did, as far back as I can remember.

if they do, its hardly ever used then. i can't ever remember them saying anything about a provisional spot for NW or trucks.

I'm really happy for Brian. This is a huge oppurtunity for him. Hopefully JGR puts DiBenedetto in the 18 and Coleman in the 20 full-time next year. If only Kyle didn't get so much enjoyment from beating guys that don't even race in cup.
