Looks like Teresa gave Mikey crap. He doesn't have the old stylized 15 he won his two 500's with.

He actually has the DEI 15 on the roof but not on the door. Its also missing a stripe along the bottem of the car. The 2001 scheme and the show car had three stripes where as tonight it had two. It wouldnt really surprise me if Teresa snubbed him, but if she did then he wouldnt have the DEI 15 on the roof. Strange deal for sure. If I had twitter I'd see about trying to get an explanation from the man himself.

I can see it now. Final lap. As the pack comes screaming towards the Superstretch the lights go out again. Eight seconds later, the lights come back on and almost everyone is on their roof or smashed up in some way. Suddenly the focus turns toward the exit of 4 with Michael Waltrip and Kevin Conway speeding to the line. It's a photo finish. Mikey wins it and Earnhardt and DEI fans everywhere shed a tear or two or three.

Only problem with that is Mikey aint going to be at the back with Conway. Hell, I'd consider that an insult to Mikey. He will be mixing it up at the front of the field like he always is. The last couple plate races he had damn good cars too and wouldve been right there at the end if he didnt get taken out in somebody else's mess. $*** luck, but thats racing sometimes.

No, it just means they didn't close the hole enough. Look for as much as 1/16th of an inch less opening in that plate going forward. Nascar will not tolerate avg speeds of 202 for very long.

If they do reduce the plate size more than what they have going into this season, I think it'll be more like 1/32 of an inch. Last year they were at 30/32 and then going into the test and speedweeks this year they reduced it to 29/32. I cant say it would surprise me if they reduce it again considering the new surface and what the two car trains are doing on it, but if they do I'd bet it'll probably go down to 28/32 of an inch.

They probably will. FOX's NASCAR tickers are always the same/similar to the NFL on FOX's.
