Can't use mainback screen

i've tried downloading a million different mainback screens, and i cant get any of them to work. i have the bullring mod, and no matter what .stp file or where i put it, all it ever shows is the trevor bayne daytona background. ive put the mainback file in the layout/art folder, the mod folder, the main folder, just about every folder existing, and nothing works. there is no other .stp files in there either, that the bayne one would be coming from. i did download the 2011 layout from nnracing, but all that is is the layout.dat file. anybody know why this is happening?

Did you put the "mainback.stp" file in the "BRcup" folder? That's what works for me.

What you've got to remember, is to change the (e.g.) 'mainback1.stp' file into 'mainback.stp', so remove the number. Then it should work.

I don't know for all the mods, but on NNracing.com are a lot of good ones.

Masgrafx has some nice ones. They're not too hard to make, if you have Winmip2.
