To be honest,It's usually just whatever pops into my head first in terms of hosting. Although,I think this way allows all members (not just those registered) can get the files they need.

OK...I can see that. To be honest, I've been here so long that it never occurs to be that you might have to be registered to view, and, I presume, download from, the Forums. Although (and without really knowing) if you had to be registered to view the Forums then neither of our links would be seen or available.
