I have recently started a career . The races are set at 10% length and the opponent strength is either 97 or 96, depending on the track. Though I am already at race 6, I would like to post updates from now until the season is over. I will start out posting results from the first 5 races. Pictures of racing action will also be posted from now on.


Chandler starts off his career with a bang, by winning the 2003 Daytona 500

A mid race incident gives Chandler a flat tire and sends him hard into the wall bringing out the caution. He goes a lap behind making repairs.

A disappointing 42nd place finish at The Rock.

A spinout on lap three sends Chandler and the 72 Roush Racing team to pit road, but he makes an amazing comeback and finished third, giving Roush a 1-2-3 finish at Vegas.

A dominant performance at Chandler's home track gives him his 2nd win of the 2003 season at Atlanta.

Chandler was in the top 10 early in the race at The Lady in Black, but the infamous Darlington stripe makes itself known on his car. A trip to pit road to fix some damage sets Chandler up for a 43rd spot on the restart. He rallies back to a top 15.

Race #6 is in the books. Chandler finishes 28th at Bristol

Race Recap:
The #30 car of Jeff Green brakes unexpectedly and catches Tyson in the 72 off guard resulting in front end damage.

A lucky break for the 72 team. A spin by Jamie McMurray in the #42 car brings out the caution. The caution is a great time for the team to make repairs.

A late race spin by Jeremy Mayfield collects Chandler Tyson in the 72 resulting in more front end damage.

Tyson stays out and the green flag waves. He rallies back to a 28th place finish.

Race Recap:
Chandler Tyson earns his 3rd pole of the season.

A slow start places the 72 car back in the 3rd position.

Tyson regains the lead.

Chandler had a 4 second lead with 7 to go, and then a catastrophic engine failure takes Tyson and the 72 team out of the race.

Tyson finishes 42nd, he declined an interview after he climbed from his smoking car and stormed into his motorhome.

Weird, the 2003 contig set I downloaded had the modern one in it for some reason. Also, I tried bigger roof numbers, but I liked the smaller ones better.

Anyone know where I can find a decent sized copy of the old logo then? I downloaded the Masgrafx 2004 set, but that logo was too small on that sheet.
