And nice job by jimmie trying to cover his butt. Gordon wasn't making anything 3-wide Jimmie! You just "ran out of talent" as they like to say sometimes.

whew.. now back to UFC 100

and NHRA in Denver is tomorrow with the IRL in Toronto. damn I have a busy weekend! lol

'Bout time people shoved back on Johnson. He's cost too many drivers a win and a certain driver two top 5s now. Good work Busch and Hamlin. :)

Did you hear what Hamlin said? Ironically I'm taking the side of a JGR driver this time...

I was about to murder someone with all those cautions late in that race. I just knew that Mark was going to find a way to lose it. I was sweating up a storm and had to take my mind of the race by playing the nr2003. Pablo and Tony are going to run out of luck sooner or later. I'm happy for Mark.

If only he had the 5 car a few years ago.. He must feel now like he wasted time driving for Roush.

So right man; had he started driving five years ago for him or heck even three, I would think Mark would be well over 50 wins by now and have atleast a championship. It's okay, he'll be around til atleast 55. I hope. haha

I don't see Mark going anywhere until the rush of winning races dies off. Hopefully, that's a good long time from now.

So just at the end when the race was getting interesting, you turned away to play a computer game? Coo-Coo.

See... Kyle didn't need any help from Tony wrecking his car, he did a damm good job all by himself last night. I had him on the scanner and he was cussing and crying more then any other driver I've EVER heard on the scanner.

Nice win for Mark.

Am I nuts or did I see a TON of empty seats in that grandstand? Did the TV commentary ever once mention that?

Sure seemed like they cut away quickly from close up grandstand shots.lol

Good to see Mark get the win.Loved his take on the double file restarts.Done
so the best car doesn't always win.

I would say NASCAR got what it was looking for with the restarts at Chicago.
It sure can mess up good runs though.Keselowski got a good comeback wiped.
Burton's not a fan either.lol.He's starting to get John Andretti syndrome.(Wrong place, wrong time)

Yeah so Chicagoland has all this "awesome racing" with double-file restarts, fast speeds, multiple grooves, etc... and still has WAY more problems filling all the seats than a track like, oh, say, Auto Club [California] Speedway had.

Guess it's not really all about how "awesome" or "boring" the racing is after all? ;)

...and to think tracks that could fill the seats have lost a race or two in efforts to expand to some places (Chicago) that can't fill the stands.
