I have been racing at atlanta. on the starts/restarts and after pitting the tires are cold so you slide all over the place in the corners. is there a way to make this not as bad?

Not if you want it to be neutral after the tires get some wear...

After the temps come up it will be better but its loose in the beginning to keep it from plowing after the tires get worn.

I think the rate at which heat gets in the tires is somehow hard coded in the exe. I dont think there is a line in the track.ini file to adjust it to make the heat get into the tire quicker. I thought there was a line allowing you to adjust how fast the AI got heat in the tires but I wasn't able to find it either.

I remeber ATL has always been a problem for me on this issue. I usually loose several spots on starts and restarts on cold tires. But I just thought I was a crappy driver:)

Try working with some of the swaybar/wedge settings. Sometimes you can find a happy medium of tight to loose when gauging longer runs. Also, swerving around before the starts actually does help a bit.
