I still prefer to have the warranty to fall back on , and the individual components in a Custom PC have exclusicivity clauses within their warranties and I'd just rather not get into all of that, especially since I have to use mine for school. (plus I don't trust my skill with putting one together even though with the software stuff itself I'm pretty solid)

Thanks for the input guys, that's what I'm planning on doing. I've already went through Newegg and found up a rig with parts I've researched that's gonna cost me about $800-$900. I plan on selling off some I don't use on eBay anymore and sell of my current computer, will help me get to goal faster. I can post the parts if you guys would like to go through and critique it.

Well that's your own decision then. Hardware warranties are usually better than the warranty you get from buying a PC from some company.
