I was inspired to host this competition after viewing the contingencies on a Sprint Cup car.

If you enter, you may choose #00-99, and you must use the 2010 Bullring Spoiler mod.

For sponsor, the first and secondary sponsors must be one of the basic contingencies on a NASCAR car. You may use any of the following.

• 3M -- Sprint Cup and Nationwide
• ARP Fasteners -- Nationwide
• Auto Meter -- Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck
• Coach-Net RV Services -- Nationwide
• Competition Cams -- Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck
• Coors Light -- Sprint Cup and Nationwide (Keystone Light -- Camping World Truck)*
• Craftsman -- Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck
• DIRECTV -- Sprint Cup*
• Edelbrock -- Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck
• Featherlite -- Nationwide and Camping World Truck*
• Goodyear Gatorback Belts and Hoses -- Sprint Cup*
• Goodyear -- Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck*
• Holley -- Sprint Cup and Camping World Truck
• JE Pistons -- Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck
• JEG's -- Sprint Cup and Nationwide
• K&N -- Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck
• Lincoln Electric -- Sprint Cup and Camping World Truck
• MAHLE Clevite -- Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck*
• Mechanix Wear -- Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck*
• Mobil 1 -- Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck*
• MOOG Chassis Parts -- Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck*
• MSD Ignition -- Nationwide and Camping World Truck
• O'Reilly Auto Parts -- Sprint Cup and Camping World Truck*
• Penske Shocks -- Nationwide and Camping World Truck
• Raybestos -- Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck*
• Simpson -- Nationwide and Camping World Truck
• Sunoco -- Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck*
• Tissot -- Sprint Cup*
• USG -- Sprint Cup
• WIX Filters -- Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck*

The rest of the sponsors are up to the painter. A minimum of four total sponsors must be used.

Driver signature is optional.

You must make the base, the rest is optional.

Good luck.

For the first part of voting, I will give each paint a certain number of points based on uniqueness and originality of the design, out of ten. Then I will put up a poll, and 1 Vote = 1 Point.

For uniqueness and originality, try to use some obscure sponsors, and make your own number.

DEADLINE: September 3rd at Midnight. So really, the last day is September 2nd.

Neat idea, though I should point out that as of 2010, Denso, Stant, Dow, EA, and MAC Tools are no longer contingency sponsors.

I wanted to use as many contingencies as I can. If you can find a picture of the 2010 contingencies, that would be great.

Also, you may post your car here in a typical two-car render when you or finished, or send it to me.

This sounds like a neat idea, might have to see if I can come up with something. Should be interesting to see what people come up with.

Also, the cars are being rated based on this:

Sponsors
- 1 Point: Primary sponsor on car/truck 2007-2010.
-2 Points: Secondary sponsor on car/truck 2007-2010.
-3 Points: Track/Event sponsor.
-4 Points: NASCAR official sponsor.
-5 Points: None of the above.

Number
-1 Point: Pre-made.
-2 Poins: Pre-made, color changes.
-3 Points: Pre-made, color changes, relayering.
-4 Points: Pre-made, color changes, relayering, reordering.
-5 Points: Completely pre-made.

I'm kind of lost with the scoring for the numbers. If its a Cup drivers number that we have redrawn and recreated and done outlines and such ourselves it counts as premade with color changes or relayering? I have a car that I'm almost done with and it has a Cup number on it that I redrew and everything is vectorized on the car since I don't use other people's work unless I absolutely have to. Just wondered if I should use a custom number so I don't lose points for it looking "pre-made" and recolored to match the scheme of the car. All the graphics and numbers on the cars I do and post on here are legitimately my own work aside from corporate logos/sponsors and team logos that I get from vector sites to save time.

It's your own? I couldn't tell, sorry. Redid the points for your car.

If you do submit, inform me if you used your own number. Sometimes these eyes can't tell.

Maybe you should ask for credits on peoples car flats.

you wouldn't necessarily be able to tell from a flat but if I sent or posted the the psd or eps file for download you'd be able to tell. I should post the 'flat' or template I use in Corel to design my cars. Only thing I use psd for is the templates you can download that have the contingencies and lights and shading and such. It's no big deal with the car I submitted already, just wasn't sure with the one I'm finishing up. Thank you for clearing it up man.
