How I do convert low-res cars to hi-res cars?

Find & install the high res car set (if one exists) for whatever mod it is you want it for. There is no way to convert a low res car set to a high res one. Well there is through a long process, but you wouldn't want to do that because the result would look like crap.

As Sage stated, there's no way to convert a low-res car to a hi-res car directly. You do have a couple of options, though. First, the easiest way would be to download a hi-res version of the car(s) that you want. The second option, and it's a bit more difficult, would require repainting your low-res car (on a 1024 resolution template, for example) onto a hi-res template (2048 resolution). Hope this helps.

I just re-size my templates by 200, making them 2048 and almost every time everything is still the same quality but they look better in game, I know this isn't the correct way but it seems to work for me.
