Alcohol sponsorships are prohibited in video games since people under the age of 21 can easily get their hands on them. That's why drivers with alcohol sponsors usually end up with their last names where the sponsors usually are on their car.

Again, They aren't prohibited. The alcohol companies choose not to advertise in games so that the government won't regulate them.

I know I've said it before, but I've DEFINITELY played games with alcohol sponsors in them, the one that sticks in my mind is GP2
YouTube - Grand Prix 2 (GP2) - Adelaide no help hotlap (at 0:20, yes the game shipped like that)

I never said that there weren't any games that they were in...
So what about sponsors like Viagra? How come they aren't in most of the games?
Also of note is in that video it's Fosters... I remember Corona being in a game.... What do they have in Common? Non-USA/Canadian based companies. Different parts of the world different views on alcohol (and possibly tobacco) advertising.
No different then how in some countries Martini could sponsor a car with it's logo & in other countries they had to use alternate logos or non at all. This past weekends F1 race rings a bell, Martini, Johnny Walker, etc couldn't be on the cars/uniforms/helmets/etc.
Also while using Grand Prix 2 as an example... Fun fact when that game came out reviewers and players said those graphics were "Photo-Realistic" :twitcy:
What car is to Ambrose's left? Looks like Bodine's truck on a cup car....
Could be the Germain 13 if Geico decided not to approve of the sponsorship for the game.
I guess they don't want them to drive harder.
