From Jayski:
Crawford teams up with Superseal for Chicagoland: Rick Crawford and SUPERSEAL Construction Products are teaming up again for this weekend's Chicagoland 225 at Chicagoland Speedway. Crawford will be behind the wheel of the #73 SUPERSEAL Chevy supplied by Ron Crosby and Joey Sonntag's Tagsby Racing. After a successful pairing in Kansas, Travis Sharpe will return to the top of the pit box for Crawford in Chicago. SUPERSEAL Construction Products is the North American market leader in dimpled membranes for dampproofing and waterproofing systems for construction applications.(Rick Crawford PR)(8-23-2010)

Great to see him back behind the wheel.

Just too bad he can't be in his famed #14 truck he's run almost his whole career. But yes, great to see him back. Another excellent driver without a fulltime ride.

One of the legends of the Truck Series. I like Crawford a lot. Great to see him coming back to the track.

He always reminded me of a (pre pot) Randy LaJoie, in that he was perfectly content in the series he was running, and enjoyed running it.

If I drove in the trucks and was a iddle-aged guy, I wouldn't want to leave, either.

Here we go. Talking about Rick Crawford and you have to try to be a funny man and bring up the fact that Randy LaJoie smoked some pot. Get over it, they are both great people and great drivers.

I never said that Randy wasn't. Just making a statement on my part. Before the alleged incident, I viewed the two as essentially the same type of person. Afterwards, I see Randy in a different light. He's still a great person and a great driver, but I view him in a different light. Not taking a shot at him...just stating my view...

And seriously, you're taking that comment kind of harshly...:sarcastic:

It's a shame Rick can't get a full time ride. I always enjoyed watching him run well.

Nah Mike, didn't mean to go off on you, just wish people could put some of that stuff to the side when we bring up someone's name.

Yeah, always liked Rick. I remember seeing him run at Phoenix way back in 1992 in a Southwest Tour race with his longtime sponsor, Circle Bar Motel & RV Park.

Not to go off topic but Nascar just reinstated him.

But back on topic Rick is nice guy. Met him in a bar here in charlotte the year he won daytona. He bought us a couple rounds and just hung out played pool with me and the friends I was with.

He's my pick to win the truck race since the last time he had Superseal on the truck he was leading when he wrecked.
