As I've said before, I had completely expected to just have the alpha version, which would have been great by itself, so thank all those who put in the work to complete it!

First I must say THANK YOU to everyone involved with the creation and completion of the mod.

As for the mod itself. Wow very nice and I for one appreciate the truck damage not being to weak.

The handling and aero of the trucks in the 14 mod seem much more accurate than the previous mod.

The dash is very nice (takes a little bit to get used to but very nice), the seating position and mirrors are sweet. Restarted my offline season as soon as I downloaded and I must admit Daytona was a blast. Got a little bit of damage fell off the front pack and found my way back to the second pack. Couldn't get back to the lead pack but it was a blast trying to.

While we're on the subject of humour and mods, whilst discussing the inner workings of the damage model elsewhere (not about the Trucks but we were discussing a mod we were working on), I decided to knock up this little image to give the guys some idea of what I look like after working for a few hours on stuff.

It seems amusingly appropriate to the conversation earlier in the thread.

Sorry for bringing this one back to the top. I have been pretty busy the last week or so. Anyway I wanted to thank Ian-S for posting how the damage model works in NR2003. Some of us don't know the ins and outs of this game. Mainly because we don't know how to make these mods or what goes into making these mods. I appreciate the insight into some of the behind the scenes information. Thanks Ian.

Dark rear window?

First of all, Thanks to all involved making this project. I just would like to know if there is anything I can do about the rear window being so dark? Any help would be appreciated.

I also was looking for a fix for this. Right now, the best option is just to turn off the back window; Just press "N" to toggle the car interior on or off. You'll notice the side mirror becomes more usable as well. :D

Long term, I think the car interior just needs to be made lighter. It's just a .mip I believe, so it shouldn't be hard for those with the time.
