I know this sounds really dumb, but is there a go-to NWS mod that everyone tends to use? I know there's the David Rioux version and the other version (that I can't recall the name of) - and I have both - but I'm just wondering which one has more support I guess.

Thanks!

There is no real answer to the question, DENIS Rouix's version has high detail models which are very laggy. SRD's version uses less detailed models, but is very fast. You will see more fictional cars for the SRD version, but more real life cars for the DMR version. The are both very good mods, neither 100% accurate, but both have pros and cons. I prefer the DMR version.

It's actually Denis Rioux, not David.

My advice regarding both NNS13 mods would simply be to try both of them and then decide for yourself which one you like more.

I would agree, try both the DMR and the SRUSA versions, and then use the one you like.

Denis, right. For whatever reason I thought David even though I knew it wasn't it.

In any case, thanks for the responses. They're both really good mods but I guess my question was which one has more paint support. I personally prefer 2048*2048 size templates and while I am sure they exist for both mods it's also just a matter of preference for me.

The fictionals thing might point me to the SRUSA; in addition I couldn't tell if the roof flaps worked on the DMR version but that might just be due to the speed of the car.

Thanks again!

The DMR mod has 4 versions. A "Muscle Car" version, a 2012 version, 2013 regular, and 2013 SuperSpeedway. SRUSA has 2 versions, one regular 2013 and 2013 Superspeedway. I use the DMR Muscle Car version for a youtube signup, but I prefer the SRUSA version because it seems to have more support. Both are very good, and you can't go bad with either!

You could also count SRD's 2011 as a 3rd version......

There is also no reason why you can't run both SRUS NNS13 and DMR NNS13 mods.
Just remember, there is no perfect mod. Install them and have fun. (y)
