Dell XPS15 Reveiw : For Those Who Were Interested In Its Performance

Well will the 2.7 processor, 2gb video card *Nvidia. 8gb of Dual Channel ddr3 Ram is performing beautifully with the game.

Once i got the right no-cd patch, got my bullring 2011 with the 2011 SRD cars, on datyona 2011 at 1280x768 resolution and full graphics. I ran anywhere from 50fps up to 80fps in 43rd with 42 cars infront of me.

Needless to say im very happy, this is the first computer ive ever had that ran this game this well.

The eye candy is great!

The sound on the laptop, is great on its on. No need for speakers in my opinion. The speakers on the laptop actually have good bass, and great sound.

I would venture to say that the XPS has a better cpu & gpu...along with 8GB of ram.

low resolution means more fps correct? did you do any ini settings changes?

Yes, the lower the resolution...the higher the frames.

I think shane9's Dell is likely running a GeForce GT 435M gpu. That makes for a lot of boogitty.

Yes, i dropped some major moohlah for this laptop. I highly recommend the dell xps 15 to anyone. Its well worth the purchase for more then just gaming.
