Okay, so I've been out of the loop with car design for many years now. The last time I really designed any cars was for NASCAR Racing 3. I've done a few quickies for NR2003 just to see if I still have the touch, and did a couple quick cars for ARCA Sim Racing, but what I'm really struggling with is the best way to do the stripes for a paint scheme. All the changes graphic programs have went through in the recent years has really thrown me for a flip.
So, with that being said, does anyone know of any tutorials out there for designing paint schemes with the recent versions of Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop? I tried searching myself, but really couldn't find anything that answered what I'm looking for. Basically, I'm looking for a tutorial that just shows the best and most clean way to make stripes. It doesn't have to be a complete in depth tutorial for a complete paint scheme. Just something that shows the basic techniques for making nice curved stripes with coloring inside them, if that made any sense.
