How can I use a soundpack for only one mod and not all of them? I like the soundpack I have for regular NASCAR's but I to add the Indycar sounds to them without fudging it all up.

I have about 5 soundpacks that I use all in their own folders and just stick the whole sound folder in that I want to use and take out the other one that I don't.That way each sound folder is unique to the mod you are using and there's no disturbing of any of the files packed inside.Hope this helps,Phil

The only Sound swapper I know of was for the Project Wildfire PTA Mod. It was a utility add on (PTA Mod Utility). I don't know if it would work with other mods or not. Maybe it could be modified to work with other Mods. I did some serching and I think Masgrafx has it . Here is the link. It will download but it's an exe file. I already have the utility installed in Nascar 2003 so I did not run it. No Promises, but I figured it was worth a look.

Downloads - Summary

You need to have the patch and the PTA mod installed for this to work.

Update: I tried it an if this is the same utility I have installed it will work with the other Mods. Only 2 PTA sounds but they are good.

You could write a simple BAT file that could do it for you. Go look up how to write them. You'd want something that changes directory names, obviously.

Actuallly, just download the sound packs, and manually rename the folders around.

You could keep the sound folders separate (i.e. call one sounds_cup, one sounds_ISS, etc.), and when you're ready to use a particular folder, rename it to sounds.
