I am SERIOUSLY thinking about buying a 2009 Jeff Gordon cap because my 2008 Dale Jr. Amp cap is no longer nice looking. LOL. Here's the thing though; in 2007 after Jeff Gordon passed Jimmie Johnson on the last lap at the 2nd Talladega race I thought for sure he was going to win the cup so I finally bought his 2007 pit cap that I've been holding off of. Next thing I know the 48 car wins a bunch of races and he loses the championship.

Then in 2008 during the mid season I finally break down and buy my Dale Jr. AMP cap... and he subsequently drops from the points lead and never seriously threatens for the title again. I am still wearing that cap and the 88 car is still sucking. LOL.

Maybe I should wait until the season is over to buy my new Jeff Gordon cap just in case. LOL.

When I was little I used to have tons of the little 1/64th cars to race around the floor lol. I think most of them are probably still in my parent's attic. Haven't actually bought any Nascar stuff since Loudon in September last year, probably won't until Loudon this year. My Bowyer pitcap from 2007 is starting to get really ratty looking, but the 2008 jacket still looks good.

However, I sent Carl Long a check when he got his fine and got a T-shirt in return. Whenever he makes a race if he gets back going again, he'll definitely have me pulling for him. I've already decided I'm wearing that shirt around the track this year, and making sure some Nascar officials see it.........

On a side note, at my last job (Hamilton Books, dunno if anyone's ever heard of the place) when I was still in high school, everyone used to have magnets to stick on the carts for orders they were picking. I took an old Dale Earnhardt diecast that had been fairly beat up from all the years running on the rug and glued a magnet to the bottom to use that, and alot of other people loved the idea and started doing it. That's where a few of my old cars went.

I imported a Dale Jr Jumper(fleece, if thats what u call them?) and a Dale Jr T-shirt. I bought a 1.18 scale 2005 Jeff Gordon dicast and a 1.25 2008 Marcos Ambrose dicast, and soon i will be getting Dale Jr's 2009 National Guard ride!

i had some 1:64 scale Hot Wheels limited edition Roush cars (#99 Exide and #16 can't remember sponsor), Petty Enterprises STP #43 and Team Sabco #40 (Coors Light signage replaces by Sabco logos)
my parents bought them 10 years ago and after years of being at the peril of my sister then the bottom of a box, they're all scratched, broken and covered in black permanent marker lol.

I've got hundreds of 1/64 scale cars in my room. My mom painted me track on wooden piece of track so I could race them. And 2chance1, I still race mine today when I've got nothing to do, and I'm 17! The best ones I've got are the matchbox modifieds that you can't find anywhere anymore, and that makes me mad!

I've got about 150 die casts and from all the way back in 1994 when I got my fist Mark Martin car. They are all still in their boxes too. I'll let my kids sell them one day and maybe they will make millions.:radar:

Diecast pez dispensers? Didn't even know such a thing existed. And Chance, I still have Jeff Burton's old Exide scheme from '96 or '97, and man is that thing scratched like crazy. Figure 12 or 13 years ago I was 10 or 11, used to do those floor races all the time. Then I blew out my knee, and that pretty much killed floor-anything.

I have <600 COY 1:64 cars and I have about 30 Different COT cars, Jeff Gordon's 2007 Nicorette car being the first one. I really don't collect 1:24 cars but I have about 7-8 COY 1:24 and 3 COT 1:24 cars, Jeff Gordon's 2008 Nicorette car being the first one. I have about 10-11 2009 cars ranging from Jeff Gordon's Firestorm to Jimmie Johnson, to Joey Logano. I'm 14, but I still do floor races a lot. I even do point standings for them.

I've been collecting diecast of all sizes since the Days of Thunder cars came out. I've done lost count of how many I have but it's a 20x10 storage shed slam full not counting what's in the house. The amount I buy has really dropped off drastically with so many paints being done and after my son was born. I still buy the cars that really stand out to me but nothing like I used to do. I mainly collect sheetmetal, helmets, firesuits and the actual race used stuff nowdays. I still enjoy getting all of the autographs too, lol.

yea they have 1/24th scale diecast pez dispensers. you press on the grill and the pez comes out of the hood. you also pull on the nose and it pulls the front end out so you load it up with pez
