(breathes sigh of relief) Well, I guess it doesn't help having live races at around midnight at times, but then again, some start at 6 or 7 PM BST

First TV race I can remember was in the early 80's

First live race of any kind was at Atomic Motor Speedway, which was a local dirt track (now gone)

First NASCAR race was Bristol in I think 1996, it wound up being rain shortened, but I got to go to the night race that year and the spring race the next year.

94 spring Martinsville was the first race I went to
Terry and Dale wrecked early and Rusty dominated the rain shorten race.
I started watching races in the late 80's was a Rusty fan guess that is why I tolerate him on ESPN :LOL:

I see post about 2001 Daytona, I went to Rockingham the week after(both days) that was a surreal moment with no SR and White goodwrench car on the track, Steve park won.
