maybe some forums changes. Maybe add a NASCAR Discussion forum where we can put the pick 'em season and other just NASCAR topics. And do we really need the ARCA Sim Racing and iRacing forums?

Now when I said paint scheme I meant just a color change, the green is getting kinda plain to me, maybe just a color change would be nice. Let's not do a SRD of Tomorrow here.

The general discussion has essentially turned into the NASCAR discussion forum. We could just rename that one, and for all of the other stuff that gets posted in there, we could have an "Off-Topic" section.

Also, Firefly's mention of SRD of tommorw got me thinking. I don't know who made the current SRD logo, but what about a new one with the COT?

Should SRD be redesigned?

Hmmm... IMO that depends. If redesigning a website is easy, then I say why not?

However, if redesigning a website is hard work, then I say definitely not. SRD is perfect just the way it is.:)

speaking as a web developer myself, changing the colors is easy as counting 1,2,3

actually adding new things to the forum (gadgets) isn't hard... it's just time consuming.

I'd be willing to help with any forum mods..

now, to my ideas..

maybe a game section, keep people on the forums while they wait for new replies, etc

paint of the month showcase.... everyone takes a vote on what the best car posted was during the month, sort of what Team Light-Speed had going on before they closed. (But their main site still works :] )

We have a gallery for members screenshots at a site I moderate. We give each member a certain amount of space for uploads, and we even run screenshot contests from time to time. The site is easy to navigate, and doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what everything is, another thing is the community is respectful of each other, which makes it a nicer place to read the posts, i do it from time to time with my grandson looking over my shoulder and not having to worry about the language is a very nice change from places I have been in the past.
As far as changing the colors every week to match the winners, yellow and red would look good on here, and I'm sure "Happy" would be pleased with it.

As a newbie, the site was easy to navigate from the outset. Things are laid out logically and browsing is easy. My only suggestion echoes some of the previous posts in that the color schemes can make things difficult to see/read sometimes. Just my $.02.

I like the site the way it is, every thing is very easy to find, quick navigation, but even if it changes, dont think its gonna run me off :)

I personally think to keep it the way it is. Your logo is familiarized and easily recognizable. When others see it, they know who you are. After a year... stay with what you have. In five, then consider and "update".
