another idea, if you are really good with ccm(camera control master) then you may just be able to angle the roof cam just right, and save that view
then put a little logo right there, would be time consuming, but possible

yeah, Knock out Qualifying would be awesome - just have an option, like a check box in each cars attributes to say if they have to qualify on time or not!! would be awesome

Lucky Dog kinda exists already - you type in the add lap (forgotten the code) into the chat, and you can select which car number gets a lap added on. (someone who remember the code, elaborate for me!!)

Accessable garages for when you retire/practice etc. Yep, some people like to spend time doing stuff like that!! It all adds to the awesomeness.

In regards to start and park, it would be awesome if the reliability thing worked like it should, (0-1) or something, but I just make them pretty slow, so generally they'll fill up the final 4or 5 spots. I also make their pit crew terrible so they lose time in the pits. (I figure this realistic as some teams don't even have pit crews!!)
Also, that way you get someone to race with at Atlanta when the tyres are screwed and you've given up before the first stop! (or is that just me??)

General atmosphere stuff would be cool ,day/night transition, camera flashes, more crowd noise, working superscreens/position towers.
But all that stuff is for EA games I guess haha.

But yeah, definitely a S&P option, real weather, Garages, active pit crew, basically everything said would be awesome. And the best thing would be accurate damage.
