Personally, I don't give it much gas in the corners. By that I mean I tap the breaks and then let it roll through the corner while downshifting, then when there is a good straight, I shift up and accelerate. That and I use the rumple strips to my advantage. I tend to think of them and more of a corner. But don't bounce, just get on them and let it slide on there. Like say you were at Indianapolis in an Indy Car. Well, there is a portion of the track there under the white line that I always use to get a better run in the corner so i can keep it down in the corner for longer without having to lift. My main thing here is, when making sharp turns, hit the breaks a good oh, 3 yards before making the turn. Then let the car roll through the corner. Don't forget to downshift as well!
