Why would I credit him? For the logos he didnt give me or make for me, the base he didnt draw for me, or the numbers he didnt make for me, the material he didnt make for me. Hmm Nope I wouldnt.
Maybe for the initial thought. But since you cant see a rear, or hood, roof or front shot i would say that there are 3 parts right there that are all mine. And the car still doesnt match up to his. I have my own touches to it.
Credit would mean he helped me with it. Which he didn't in any way shape or form. I looked at his picture, just like i do to the real cars and I did the rest.
I completely agree with Alan. The car he made is a 2D presentation, with only a side shot. Which Alan then played around with on a game model. and Alan's is considerably different. And he posted that he saw it on the RuRa boards, which to me meant he was acknowledging that he wasnt the original owner. No need to freak out everyone
I'm not freaking out over you not posting credit, and I'm not trying to start anything either. It's just that whenever I get inspired by somebody else's scheme, I like to give credit to there scheme that gave me an inspiration.
I'm not saying what you did was wrong or that you ripped it, I just figured since so many people liked and had no idea if it was real or fictional, they at least deserved to know who made the concept in the first place.
Ok. Point taken. I understand what you mean. I can agree that maybe I should have posted a reference to the original so people knew what inspired it. When I made it I thought it was a real car. I had finished it when I found out it was fictional.
