I'm not sure. That was in an F2 type series to IRL remember, so probably. However, he would of definitely still head pretty bad head injuries even if the crash happened in present day.

With Conway, I was in turn 4. He wrecked in the short chute. I had a nightmare about it once. And if I as a spectator had a nightmare about it, imaging what is going on in Mike's head when he's sleeping.

Actually, Moore was signed by Penske from Forsythe Racing...he was supposed to drive for Penske the next season. Not really a development driver.

His wreck was brutal to say the least.
