I don't get it. I went to look at Tony Stewart's website. He raced like 6 or 7 different cars this year. Different, I mean paint jobs. Sometimes a different sponsor or whatever. It seems like every race, Jeff Gordon's car is different one way or another. Why is this? What usually changes? Get me up to speed. Thanks.

Basically, just changing the sponsor give money to a little more people in an organization, like DUPONTWater or PA24.com, so each part gains more money and the company gains more.

Jeff Gordon's secondary sponsor, Pepsi, likes to be creative also because the sponsor gets a small profit from the sales of a diecast car.

That's how I've heard it.

I would think selling many single race sponsorship deals is greater $$ than one year long sponsorship deals.

Think of it like in iRacing. You can sign up for a month at a lower cost but if you do 12 single month memberships you would pay more for it than if you just did one whole year deal.

So, if you get a group of sponsors buying single race deals, your team brings in more $$ in the long run, than if you got one big sponsor for the year.

Having sponsors on your vehicle is like billboard advertisement. They pay lot of money so that their driver can race. I heard that it cost over million dollars just to race in one weekend - probably less for small team.

Every car that I have seen on the track is miss one area of the car that they can sell why. All Aussie super V8 car sell the rear spoiler. So why don't sprint sell the rear spoiler

Teams cannot modify the wings. They are given out each weekend by NASCAR. Teams do utilize the endplate for sponsors but you can't touch the actual wing.

Teams do put sponsor logos on the side panels on either side of the wing.

Yes, the "end plates" are owned by the teams, thus they put logos on them but the actual wing itself is owned by NASCAR and the teams cannot modify them.
