NASCAR:
In real life, my favorites in order are:
Daytona
Atlanta
Bristol
Martinsville
Dega

There's more but I don't want a list of 1000 tracks.

Least favorite:
Indianapolis (NASCAR. It's obviously quite awesome for IndyCar. In NASCAR I'd rather watch Pocono.)
Pocono
Dover (Has a Monster reputation but only puts on a decent show once every 4 or 5 years.)

IndyCar:
Favorite:
Indianapolis
Long Beach
Iowa

Least favorite:
Barber (Though that's closest IndyCar track to me so I'll probably cave and go next year.)
Detroit

F1:
Favorite:
Montreal (Would be on the NASCAR list if they still raced there.)
Singapore (Not gonna lie. This is purely from the aesthetics perspective. That track lit up looks great.)

Least Favorite:
Monaco (I get it's historic. It's also really really boring.)

In NR2003:
Favorite:
Daytona
Talladega
Atlanta
Darlington

Least Favorite:
Vegas
Michigan
Pretty much any road course.

Favorites (it's a long one):

Indianapolis (Every configuration. Oval and road course also any series. Most people won't see a NASCAR race at IMS so they judge it based on poor television coverage. Seeing the race in person is more exciting because there's more passing that the TV cameras don't show. And also more than you'd expect.)
Circuit of the Americas
Watkins Glen
Valencia Street Circuit (It's fun to drive imo and the 2012 race wasn't that bad)
Chicagoland (IndyCar only)
Texas (IndyCar only)
Phoenix (Prior to the repave)
Sanair (remember that track?)
Sonoma
Long Beach
Monza
Montreal (Formula 1 only)
Daytona Road Course
Pocono (Any series)
Monaco
Circuit de La Sarthe
Road America (Any Series)
Homestead (IndyCar only)
Loudon (Any Series)
Michigan (IndyCar only)
Auto Club (IndyCar only)
Laguna Seca
St. Petersburg
Toronto
Zandvoort
Barber
Iowa

Least Favorites:

Bristol
Kentucky
Talladega
Daytona (oval)
Charlotte
Atlanta (Post 1997. Pre 1997 it was awesome)
Twin Ring Motegi
Richmond
Hockenheim (Post 2002)
Abu Dhabi (Looks great, racing is pitiful)
Belle Isle
Reliant Park

I'm curious to hear your thoughts on these. Kentucky had great IRL races, especially 2011. I love driving Twin Ring (oval and road) on iRacing in the Dallara or the HPD, and Abu Dhabi produced a great 2012 race. Is Reliant Park on here as a kneejerk from Dario's wreck?

I went to Kentucky for an IRL race in 2003. The racing was sub par at best and the track as a whole is a patron's nightmare. Parking sucks, traffic sucks, I just did not get a good vibe at all.

I never found the Motegi races to be all that exciting. It's fun to drive, I'll give it that, but I just could never watch a full race there. Oval and road.

Abu Dhabi races, from my perspective, are the most dreaded on the calendar. The racing last year was good, but previous years it's been meh. If it puts on a better show this year, it'll probably be removed from the list.

And I've hated Reliant Park since they started going there. Just a bad track with bad pavement, bad atmosphere, and sub par racing. Overall design is pretty boring and it's not very fun to drive either. Dario's crash isn't the reason I dislike it, because really, that could have happened on any other street course.

Feel like the problems people have with races being 'boring' has more to do with the cars than the track, but i pretty much enjoy all of 'em. Pocono is the only place i really get to every year which is cool. I was able to get to the Coke Zero 400 in 2012, first time ever being to Daytona and man that place completely blew me away.

Very true. If the winner's car is far better than any of the competitors, than there's not much of a race e.g. any race that Kyle wins in NNS.

Also, I hated the Indy course at Edmonton. It was awful to watch a race from. They put the grandstands in a spot where you could see a grand total of zero turns on the rack. All you could see was the straightaway in front of you.
