Here is my first attempt at a Hauler paint and render.

Not perfect, but I never claim to be.

With a few minor render changes:

Looks like I should put Truex's signature on the trailer

Very Nice. Are you using the Volunteer Graphics templates, and is there a way to put the transporter into a viewer program. I like using the ZModeler that BCR put together when I paint, make it quick and easy to see if my lines are where they should be. Do they have a ".x" file for the tranporter for CarView, or maybe someone knows of a ".z3d" file for Zmodeler. I have 3ds Max but its slow and cumbersome to work with while painting (unless I'm doing something wrong, which is very likely the cause). Thanks for any help.

Great Traporter

Yes it is the Volunteer Graphics template. I paint it in paint shop pro and then put it in 3ds max. I got the scene the thenascargarage, but it needs alot of work, as I don't have brazil. I had to put the tire textures on and the wheel textures. I have been playing around with this scene for 2 weeks.

I saved what I done under another name so the plain scene is still the same, so I can do a quick render to check allignment, as it takes awhail to render my finished scene. (which is not finished, not even close. I will be adding car models to it yet.)

I have no idea on the other stuff you asked.

I have asked around and there does not seem to be a viewer file that exist.

But, after working with this template enough I have realized there is not really that much of a need for one. Use the 2nd to top layer in the temp called "lines" as a way to get your paint lined up. In reality, you only need to paint one side anyway.

I painted both sides, incase I want to use a different angle render. but it is up to each ones pref.

Another shot to show the tractor off>

I don't like where I put the cub cadet logo on the tractor, and the other logos for that matter. I'll have to get used to the template.

Another question- is there a template for this, or did you just paint over the paintjob that was already in the scene?
