First Nascar race

Just went to my first two NASCAR races at Bristol this past weekend and it rocked! I can now say I'm in the Guinness Book of World Records. And I got to experience thousands of people Booing Kyle Busch's success and cheering his failures. It's nothing like you expect or can experience from TV. And I have to say nearly everyone in Bristol is nice...until it's time to drive home from the track

So if you've never been to a race, go.

I've never been to a track yet but am going to Michigan next year.. bristol or talladega would be most enjoyable to me

I've been to Lowes, Richmond, Martinsville and Rockingham (before they took the cup from them)

Man I feel old, I went to my first race back in 1983 when I was 3 years old. Charlotte Motor Speedway, I had the old Mountain Dew gear on!

I've been going every year since 2001. First, I went to my home track, Watkins Glen, then Pocono. I've been to Darlington twice, the close finish in '03 and Biffle's win in '05. I'm going to Richmond in a few weeks too.

Old? Come now, it's not like you were mid twenties when you went to your first race. Even if you were that would put you middle age. Besides you started watching the races when they were really good.

The one thing I really noticed was the difference in talent between GN and Cup series. Nationwide guys are EVERYWHERE! But both races were very exciting in their own respect.
