Can't recall if this is much different than previous testing sessions or not.

I would like to see NNS and CWTS testing as well...If anyone knows of someone with CWTS testing footage, may links be posted.

(Before anyone wastes their time, I know NNS will be on FS1 and I know the testing isn't for another week+.)

I am excited that they are going to show testing this year. I was a little worried since we don't have Speed Channel anymore. I still wish they were also going to show the truck testing. Unless that is NASCAR's way of trying to keep the new pieces under wraps.

    Sweet I cant wait!

Also very strange rumor going around twitter that Travis Pastrana might drive the 500 in a Front Row Motorsports car. At first I thought it was a joke. I doubt this is true at all, but an interesting rumor none the less.

I thought testing was usually the week before the Rolex 24? Aw well, just glad that they will still show covereage, and we will get some NNS stuff as well. Wish to see the trucks, but some Nascar is better that No Nascar right?

The Pastrana thing is plausible. I think he has funding from Red Bull which is why he couldn't put his sponsorship on the # 60 Ford.....(Roush + NOS)

It'd be cool...FRM has a good superspeedway program.

The Travis Pastrana thing would make a ton of sense. FRM is a Ford/RFR team with great restrictor plate cars and Travis should be able to jump in and get a good paycheck for only having to do one race. And FRM should be able to collect a nice check from Red Bull who should be able to actually have their logos on the car.

I would imagine if they are preparing a new ticker, NASCAR would ask them to wait until 2015 with the new TV contracts to do it. Though I honestly have no idea whether NASCAR would actually look into TV graphics packages, I'm just throwing out a thought.

Normally, it's decided by the high ups at Fox. If they change the NFL score box in the Super Bowl, then they will probably change it for NASCAR. But seeing as they seem committed to their current graphics package it's unlikely we'll see a change or know until the Super Bowl.
