Frame rate help

Hey guys, short of graphics tweaker, which I already am using, what can I do to help fps on two mods: OWR07 and SRD NWS. I'm getting 27-23 fps on those two. I'm having more trouble on OWR07 than SRD NWS (I have to dummy down OWR07 a bit). Any help would be appreciated.

Game booster or AMD fusion if you have a amd processor.

I gained 10 fps in nr2003 with AMD fusion.

Gamebooster is very system specific though. I never got an improvement from it or either End It All version. I've heard others say the same. Someone posted another option recently...if I can find it.

Careful. Fusion's 'performance tuning' is another guy's 'overclocking'. NVidia has MSI Afterburner. Fusion supports XP (both 32 & 64 bit). Maybe give your rig spec's, and elaborate on 'doesn't like'. I'm a big fan unk: of overclocking, but it's a bit like NOS -- gotta play by a very tight set of rules, or it can bite you in the wallet.

Athlon would be supported on some things, but Overdrive won't be -- so oc on cpu would not be possible thru the utility. Depending on which gpu you have, overclocking your graphics card is still a possibility. Athlons were generally not an ocer's friend anyways.

On Game Booster; it won't do anything you can't do in task manager. Just easier. So if you run a tight ship, you're not as likely to see a difference. I would agree with 'system specific', very, if we're talking about an individual's system, and not like a particular brand, or model.

HijackThis, CCleaner, Malwarebytes, and Eusing can help get rid of fps thieving maleware. Probably the biggest fps villain, after :2guns:Norton and other av ap's.

Gadgets, animated desktops, sound cards, heat and performance boosters can all cost frames. I'm very careful about what I download. Most boosters, and may registry cleaners, are wolves in sheep's clothing. I get several credible geek reviews before hitting the dl button.

A $25 graphics card is often the easiest way to get the graphic's giggle factor.
