Anybody out there have any problems with the creating a profile on their G25? I used to have one created but I had to uninstall/reinstall it and ever since then it comes up when I try to create a profile "no game controller found". Any help would be appreciated. :-/:(

Unplug your wheel, uninstall Logitech Wingman software, then restart computer.

After it restarts, install the software, plug in the G25 when it is done and your computer should find the wheel. After the wheel is found and configured by Windows, either create a new profile or restore your backup.

Reinstalled it again and it says " Logitech Profiler detects no controller". The wheel works just like new and it always has but I cannot seem to create my profile again.

Okay, I'm gonna guess that you are using Vista or Windows 7.

Is it possible you have it plugged into a non-powered USB? Does the light on the shifter come on when you plug in the wheel? Is the power supply plugged in?(I know this is basic, but I had a friend that was ready to buy a new wheel, then he plugged it in and all was fine)

Another thing you might try:
Go into your BIOS and check you Legacy USB support settings. I have seen a couple of cases where disabling Legacy USB support will correct this issue.

They are in your computer's BIOS(Binary Input/Output System) settings.

When you first start your computer, you need to hit a key to enter "Setup". The startup screen will tell you which key it is and you have to hit it before Windows startup screen appears. Manufacturers of motherboards use different keys. It could be an F-key, Delete, Escape, or several others. There should be a line near the bottom of the startup screen that will say something like, "To enter setup press ___ key".

After you enter the BIOS, simply look for a line that says, "USB Legacy Support" then make sure that it is disabled. After changing the setting, hit the Escape key and it will ask you if you want to "exit setup". Save your changes when prompted, and restart the computer. Then reinstall/connect your wheel.

****WARNING****
The BIOS is like the nervous system of your computer. Do not make any changes you are not absolutely sure about. It tells all of the hardware on your computer, what to do and makes it all work together. If you change the wrong thing, it could keep your computer from starting or really screw it up. Do not change anything other than the setting I described.

Something I forgot:

Most computers are set by default to show the manufacturer's logo when booting.

You may need to search "How to enter BIOS" for your computer to find out which key you hit when the startup screen first comes up. Just tap the key a couple of times when the computer has displayed the logo screen. You usually only have a few seconds before the Windows Startup screen appears. If that comes up, you have to restart and try again.
