Well....you may not like this...

For things to work properly after installing the 1.2.0.1 patch (No-CD patch), you'd need to install the following in the following order:

Install the PWF cup damage

Install the PWF gns mod

Install the PWF GNS Volumetric Shadow Fix(http://www.masgrafx.com/masgrafxracing/mod...oad&sid=582)

Install the PWF truck mod

Install the IROC mod

Install the PWF IROC Model Fix (http://www.masgrafx.com/masgrafxracing/mod...oad&sid=583

Install the PWF TA mod

Install any other mods in any order (owr mod, gtp mod, lm mod, etc.)

Now, in saying that, I'm not sure if the current mods (BR12/Cup12, SRD NWS 11, NCTS 09, PWF ARCA or Horton ARCA, OWR07, et al) need to have any of the following to work properly. So, maybe wait a bit, see what other users say, and hopefully they can give you better news.

It's actually not that bad. Graphics could use a kick but they are not horrible, FPS are pretty good as well.

Might get banned for disagreeing, but...

It's actually not that bad. Graphics could use a kick but they are not horrible, FPS are pretty good as well.

The AMD A-Series A4-3305m is a 1.9GHz processor, with auto oc'ing to 2.5GHz. Part of the new AMD Fusion line up. These are called APU's, rather than CPU, to denote it's an Accelerated Processing Unit. Pair this with onboard graphics accelerator, the 6480G, and you have spec's very similar to the higher end desktops available in 2003.

Some members, notably Henderson, report enjoyable gameplay without a 'dedicated' graphics cards. I believe him.

The onboard graphics, 6480m, has more grunt than the venerable Radeon 9800 Pro, which gave N'03 racers bragging rights -- back in 2003. (And the successor 6800GT Ultra)

I've personally raced many, many hours on a system (9800 Pro, AMD 'Opty' 146 stock, and 3 less gigs of ram) with spec's very close to the system spec's cwald1 provided, and enjoyed every minute.

I'm no expert, but, considering the spec's, I would expect enjoyable racing from your new laptop. Just make sure you keep exhaust area free of obstructions.

Congrat's on the new rig cwald1. (y)

Well thanks Evo. I don't know what you said but that last part made me happy. After my last one was stolen I was figure it was time to start racing again since I was getting the shakes watching the races then watching cup12 mod videos on you tube.

I have most mods, nratings, revamped tracks, 2012 schedual. What must have add ons am I missing out on? Chad Kanaus is my spotter which is neat.
