Generic Setup Problem.

I install the game, and install the ss.net COT mod, Nationwide (pwf_gns), truck series (NCTS09), and the Aero88 mod.

The Generic Setups (easy, fast, qualify, and jasper) are fine in the original cars and the COT cars.

But in the Nationwide, it only lets me pick a setup for when we qualify and race, but for the "current" setup, it wont let me pick anything.

And in the Trucks, and Aero88 mods, NO setups will work, it says "none" and thats it.

When I installed the trucks on my dad's computer, everything came up fine, so its not the file.

Whats the problem??:err::err:

They are different physics models, so they require different setups. The NCTS09 and Aero88 mod both use .cts physics. Maybe your dad's computer has some .cts physics setups in it, otherwise no idea.

It's not unusual for nothing to show up for current when you start up the game.

But you should be able to click the arrow and bring up at least a fast setup.I thought I heard that the track wouldn't work without one.Dunno?

Have you tried putting a third party setup into a track?You could tryNR2003 Setups at SetupSwap.com - Download Nascar 2003 setups

Look into the track ini that your using and check for the different types of setup files.
Your looking for fast.cts.sim or fast.gns.sim...

If there's not one there you could take one from Setup Swap and rename it fast.___.sim for whichever mod your using.Maybe that will allow you to use other setups then.

That's all I can think of right now,maybe someone else has more direct experience.I haven't had this issue before.

yeah i've never had this problem either. I have SS.NET, CTS09, Nationwide and Grand National. I'm at least able to pick a qualify or race with the other mods.

Thanks guys, is there anywhere I can just DL the physics? How would I get them?

What track/s specifically are you trying to use?Most regular tracks have gns and cts
setups already.I've had some strange things happen during track file transfers so it's possible the setups aren't there for some reason.

You could always try another download of a track that's not allowing a setup to see if that changes anything.

What I had to do was install the PWF CTS truck MOD and then it "transferred" (I guess) the setups over to the NCTS09 and Aero88 Mods,

DK Why or How, but it worked, even when I deleted the PWF Truck Mod, the setups stayed, so thats cool with me. lol
