If you cry long enough, you'll get what
So is this the reason for all the reactions??
If you cry long enough, you'll get what
The last week has been a joke and has seriously damaged the sport. Lets just go racing already, I am sick of all this manipulation by teams and NASCAR. Time to move on and bury all this crap with some good on track competition.
If you cry long enough, you'll get what you want.
Lost respect for Hendrick after Johnson & Gordon acted like babies....
My head is spinning. I can't believe what I've been reading/hearing this past week. It's all ridiculous.
You know I would have said that Nascar should just leave it along and keep the results after Richmond. But then people would be bitching that nothing was done. Now that something has been done and the actions have basically been reversed pre-Bowyer spin, everyone is still bitching. WHY? Oh that's right....we're Nascar "fans"
When I think about this whole situation, I cringe, but then again when I think about it more I think that everything was done right by Nascar. Product of the Chase? No. Would everyone hate the Chase more than they do now if it didn't happen? Hell no. People just want to blame the Chase because they don't like it. I don't love or hate the Chase, but one thing I do despise is the WildCard. That's basically what caused all of this and it's just a cheap way to give other drivers a chance. This is just another perfect example of how fans will never be happy. Whatever Nascar does is wrong, and they threaten to quit watching...wash, rinse, repeat.
Nascar should just revive Dale Earnhardt get rid of the chase and Kyle Busch and start going back to using the cars from 1988...and let Dale Jr. win another 500. Screw the next generation fans because they don't know who the hell Dale Earnhardt is. Do it for traditions Sake!
This is embarrassing for the sport if you ask me
Why not give the 24 team a chance? The actions of BOTH the Penske and MWR teams pretty much screwed him, why not add him in to at least fix some of the damage this situation made?
And Truex is out because the actions of MWR were to help that 56 team make the chase. He's the victim, but he doesn't get off free, the whole team is punished, and that's how it should be.
Ummm... yeah... that's what people have been complaining about since Monday. XD The inconsistency of it all. But IMO Nascar mostly looks foolish because they waited until the last minute to put the 24 in... so people not familiar with the situation and especially non racing fans think Nascar just put in the 24 car for no good reason... hence all the jokes about putting other random people in the Chase too.I've just taken a look back at the moment that Clint Bowyer spun out, and Jeff Gordon was in 10th position in points at that moment. So I'm starting to doubt even more with what I said before, that other drivers should be added as well. The only problem I still have is that Truex got kicked out of the Chase for something his teammates did, and Logano is still in the Chase... They don't seem to be consistent with their penalties. I would've taken Bowyer and Logano out and put Truex and Gordon in. That seems to be most fair to me...
And IMO although a lot of people don't care for it... I like the fact that Nascar is basically a dictatorship. Other sports like the NFL and MLB take years to make even the slightest change... Nascar can do it in just a few days.
We're the generation that always whines and complains about anything. When something happens, we complain, when the complete opposite happens, we complain... when it is cold we complain it's too cold, when it's hot we complain it's too hot. You pretty much can't keep everyone satisfied. If Nascar wouldn't have done anything, people would still have complained...
