Fully licensed FiA competition. 137 cars. Full livery editor. Will release Q4 of this year.

There's an unlicensed oval track present in the trailer that looks like a mashup of Bristol and Martinsville, so the potential for NASCAR vehicles is certainly there.

I'm so torn about which next gen console to get.

If it's better than GT6 I'll be happy. I've owned 4, 5 and 6, and 4 is still the gold standard. This one looks more like a standard racing game, so it certainly looks promising.

I've read it will be exactly like regular GT games, just with the FIA. Can't remember where though, and I'm unsure that it was credible.

iRacing is a bit of a pain in the ass for me. Too much money to invest for something that doesn't even have offline racing.
Once they are done with the dirt deal, it would not surprise me for them to incorporate offline somehow. They've been questioning their members about it for the last 2 years.

Surprised that no one is discussing this game. The SR system, while flawed, does a much better job of mitigating rammers and advocating clean racing. Also, I love the livery system. You can upload pretty much any sort of .SVG file you want to the GT website and make it available in-game.

If I had a supported wheel, I would've bought it a long time ago.
I'm performing...acceptably with a controller. It also supports the PS4's motion sensors, providing three different types of options:

Personally though...I'm getting completely absorbed by the livery editor. Lost four hours to that last night alone.

The July update has added livery editing for firesuits and helmets, along with a new (fictional) track and eight new cars (one of them being Mercedes' 2017 F1 car.)

Just picked this up the other day, if you have the patience and space on your PS4's hard drive, paying $20.00 for this isn't a bad deal at all.
