Not trying to be lazy but this has been pissing me off, cars are blurry and are making me mad.
Here are my specs:
Memory:12288MB Ram
Current Display Mode:1920x1080
Current Bit: 32-bit
I'm not sure what else I need to include, if anything please tell me and let me know what I should change in my game!

Mine does that on my backup rig using the BR2011 mod if i have the TextureSetSize too high or a negative number.

For those using 512 and 1024 meg cards, I have a pdf on my site from 'cupcars' that has the info there... http://www.ffrl.org/Downloads/other/Graphicstweak.pdf

The Graphics tweaker.. honestly, it did more harm than good on my system (win7 pro 64 bit). I found manually changing the info was the best route to go. When I had the .ini files done to where I liked it, I made a copy so anytime I have to change something, I have a backup to copy back over. I don't remember how I got it to work because I deleted the program afterwards.

Mr. Josh, when was the last time you actually blew out the fan on the graphics card? I had one of my league members have the same issue and when he did blow it out, his frame rates improved by 20. Just a thought.

It's been my experience when doing the config, that those that have nvidia cards should use openGL. Those with ATI, use 3d. It's my opinion really but I've seen the best results with it.

What happens when my Ram is 3070, my A.T.M. is 1024MB. and My Res.(C.D.M.) is set at 1920x1080 ? What would be my TextureSetSize number ?
I've just upgraded from a AMD Athlon 64x2 dual Core CPU to a AMD Phenom IIx4 940 Quad Core. On my Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe motherboaed. 3+GB. Ram. I"ve also upgraded my video cards from (2) PNY GeForce 9800 GT running in SLI mode to (2) PNY GeForce 550 Ti running in SLI Mode. As of right now I've reinstalled the PNY GeForce 9800 GT's They seem better for some reason. I also upgraded my monitor from a Acer 22" to a Asus 24" LCD, HD. 1080p
I use to play nr2003 in 1280x1024 Res in open GL with 3/4 eye candy turned on with FPS Highest 80 lowest 30 Things looked really good, Crisp and clear. Gameplay was smooth.
After the upgrades. The game plays like crap ! very choppy, low frame rates. not crisp and clear like it was. Some things are pretty fuzzy looking. With the (2) 550 Ti's running in SLI mode I could only play the game in 1920x1080 Res D3D The Fame Rates were very bad. Game was really choppy. Replaced the (2) PNY 9800 GT's running in SLI mode. Now I can play the game pretty much in any Res. I want but it has to be in D3D Not Open GL the game looks the best at 1280x1024 Res. D3D with the fame rates all over the map from 160FPS to 25FPS and the game is very choppy.
The game played better before I did any upgrades. Why ?

To figure out your texture size, follow this formula:

"The "number" is what you want to replace. There is a formula for this...
( Mb of video ram) x (1048576) - ( 4 x Screen Width) x ( Screen Height) x (BPP) Bits Per Pixel, use (2) for 16bit or (4) for 32bit color."

As far as things looking bad when you upgraded, if you made adjustments to the core.ini, rend/dx files, or even your player file to adjust tweaks.. that could be an issue,I think, when trying to load a certain setting with different equipment. When you made adjustments, you should have made a backup of the original files. I would put those back in place and then manually make your adjustments again. If you don' t have then, I would say to reinstall the game to be safe.

I figured I'd have to reinstall the game. So thats what I did. I am playing the game in 1920x1280 res. now but I had to turn all the graphic eye candy way down or the game runs real choppy.
I've ordered a new Motherboard "Asus M4N98TD EVO" with 4GB gaming ram coming with it. I should have it Wed. 5/11/11 I'm thinking most of my problems are that my mobe is so old. Hopfully the new mobo will make things much better.
Thanks for your reply.

I'm back using my AMD Athlon 64x2 dual core CPU with my M2N32-SLI Deluxe mobo with a PNY 550 Ti Video card. Now I'm playing the Nr2003 game with DRMcup11ss mod at Lowes SBP 2006 at 1920x1024 Res. with all eye candy turned on and the game plays and looks great. It's a little choppy in spots. So I'll probably buy another PNY 550 Ti and run 2 video cards in SLI mode. That should fix the choppyness.
