Hauler Scene ReMap

Does anyone know how to remap a hauler scene? i've been looking everywhere for a tutorial and can't find one. I did have a scene reworked for me but i can't merge a car into the scene. when i merge a car into the scene everything renders black. I want to learn and get better but I can't find any help anywhere. All help is greatly appreciated.

Simple way it to copy all the files from one scene into another. Then open up the scene and edit it to your liking.

I tried to copy the files and when i render everything shows black.

Sounds like it is a Brazil scene you are working with using mental ray.
Where did you get the scene?

it is a brazil scene. i got it from stunods page quite awhile ago

If mental ray is your render engine (no Brazil) it will all render black, and materials will all have "missing renderer". I have a mental ray version that never got released.

so would I. I had someone remap a scene but it's not working right. I still haven't had any luck finding a tutorial on how to remap

It never got finished to send out public...But it is being completed now.
