Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, so if it's not, my apologies. I've always enjoyed playing full seasons in NR2003, and I've always played using 1 scheme per driver during the entire season. But since that is far from the case anymore, I've tried to play around so that during the season, the game will randomly choose which paint scheme shows up during each race. I haven't been able to figure it out, and I'm not even sure if this is possible. One of my favorite parts of NASCAR today is all the different schemes for each driver and trying to pick out who is who week to week. If able to, I'd like to be able to incorporate that in to playing NR2003. Can this be done?

Thank you.

As far as i know, you cant tell it to randomly select a paint scheme. What i do is export them all as .tga files, then if i want to change it, i just import it onto whatever car i want it on. I have 5 different jeff gordon files, i just change em once in a while.

i could be wrong, but ii think if you do this you will end up with the same driver as 5 different drivers..if that makes sense.
Like Dale Jrs National gaurd scheme as one driver-
and his amp scheme as another driver

yes, that is why you EXPORT the car's scheme. it will save itself as a .tga in the import/export folder. Then you can delete the extra drivers, but still have the paint schemes, and import them onto the current car whenever you want. Just make sure you have saved all the schemes you want to use. If you import a scheme without exporting the old one, it will be lost.

As long as they're all rated the same and have the same number, you should be able to select all your schemes and they'll show up randomly. Not 100% sure about single races, but I do know that if you have multiple cars for a driver and start a championship, the cars will be different from race to race. Bad part is, each paint job gets points separately. This means, if you have 14 Office Depot in Race 1 then 14 Mobil 1 for Race 2, you have two different entries for Stewart in the standings. Score4 is the only work-around for this that I know of.

No, the game limits it to one car for every car number making it impossible to have more than one #88. There can be multiple of the same drivers that raced more than one car number.

Dude, the simplest, and only way to do it to keep all the points for one car is just export/import. Thats why the damn buttons are there.
