Or he could export it from in-game. And you can't edit hardly anything with an already made car. You need to get the templates from here or at Bullring.

You've extracted all of the winmip2 files files to your desktop? Do what I do and put everything for winmip2 in its own folder in my nr2k3 folder. Im guessing it wont open becuase you're missing the proper dll that it requires to run right? Is that the message that you are getting? Definitly need more specifics than what you posted so we can help you.

Msvbvm50.dll must be were you have extracted winmip2 to. msvbvm50 - DLL-files.com

Double click the WinMip2.exe.
Once open be certain that the little NR2K3-looking tire is selected (2nd from right - it'll say NR2003 when hovered over with your mouse).
Then click Extras > NR2003 Car File Editor and navigate to the 'cars' file of which ever series you're looking to open the .car file of.
Double-click on the selected .car file.
Once the .car file is unpacked there will be two (2) options ~ Export Car Texture & Exp. Crew Texture. These will saved as .bmps (bitmaps) by default to the same 'cars' folder. If you wish to save the bitmaps elsewhere then you need to navigate to where you want them saved.

Remember, as PepsiRacer4 pointed out...these are only 'flats' (non-layered images) and altering anything on them would be a major pain in the ...

Without knowing which OS you're using you might need to open the program as 'Administrator' but I don't really know how that works. I'm a simple man...I use XP Pro.

The link to that dll is in my previous post. See, I told you thats what the problem was. Though it seems you also are missing the MSCOMCTL.OCX file as well.

EDIT: You can get that one here. MSCOMCTL.OCX download - free ocx files

Again both files have to be in the winmip2 folder.

Yep...do what 086gf recommends. That info wasn't in your previous post.
