After noticing the low grades on the cars I have uploaded here on SRD, I have decided to take a step back and be patient in my designs. I would like to thank Carl Robinson and Jerry Towns for their eye opening opinions and critiques on my work. I plan, from now on out, to post nothing but 100% top notch realistic and fictional designs. If you have a problem with my work, I ask that you PM me personally so you can critique it and I can become a better designer overall. That said, here is my step in the new direction. Please let me know what you think. Thank you.

Lookin good man. Your base schemes look good to me especially.

The only thing I noticed on the Geico car was the ford b-pillar logo being a little pixelated.

They're looking great. I rated one of your cars an A. Anyway, the only thing I notice is the windshield name is the wrong font.

Thanks J_Collins and jbraun57. I didn't notice until recently that the font wasn't bold. The only one I could find was the bold one. Looks like I will have to search for the regular font style. For some reason, the font doesn't have too many Mac versions, and that's the reason I can't seem to find it. I keep getting led to PC versions of it.

One thing in general to work on though is number clarity. For example, the 13 sort of gets lost in the design of the car, so I'd suggest redesigning the base around the number or adding a thicker outline. As for the 7, I would make the number white and recolor the lower layers of the number so they blend well. Otherwise the cars are very nice! I love the white-to-blue fade on the side of the Tide Pods car.

I appreciate the comment there, Jeff! These are of course mock ups. From now on, I use NR2003 as my test material, then I put the design in iRacing and make nice and pretty for presentation purposes. I'll go back and see what I can do to make the numbers stand out better!

Looks like I haven't "renewed" myself in about a week. That said, got this car as a request. Still a WIP, but opinions are welcome. I don't plan on this being an exact replica, but maybe down the line I will edit it and make it more like the real thing. Many thanks to Jason Roush for the hood logo. I also used his design from the COT to look at for this one. Again, opinions welcome!
