Hi. 100% new. How can I make a car?

Hi I am new to this site. I love Chad Little and the John Deere Motorsports team and met him in person this year at John Deere Horicon Works 100th Anniversary celebration in Horicon, WI. Very nice guy!

How do you guys make up these cars? I have seen a few AWESOME John Deere cars on here. Are they fictional redo's of the 97 car? I would love to make a Deere Motorsports car. Just wondering if there is software or how you guys do it? Like I said, I am totally 100% new here. My name is Tim.

You can get a free proram called GIMP or you can get your hands on a copy of Photoshop.( which is what I use)

I'd go with either GIMP (as pointed out by Double Deuce) which can be found -> Here or, if you really want a program you have to pay for, I'd suggest Paint Shop Pro for a beginner. It can sometimes be found for a real good price on eBay.

Welcome to SRD Tim! GIMP is defiantly the best for starters. There are several tutorials here on SRD on painting cars.
